Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve a large deflection angle while minimizing the resistance to wind flow rate, by selecting the position of means, provided at the downstream extremity of a wall defining a flow path from an upper inlet and adapted to direct the flow path inwardly, at the upstream side of the downstream extremity of a vane. CONSTITUTION:The position of means 21 provided at the downstream extremity of a wall 13 defining a flow path from an upper inlet and adapted to direct the flow path inwardly is set at the upstream side of the downstream extremity 20 of a vane 17. By such an arrangement, a horizontal flow can be achieved without producing great divergence in the flow upstream the vane 17 when the flow is downwardly biased or with a small inclination angle alpha when the flow travels horizontally, thereby achieving a great deflection angle with lesser resistance to the wind flow rate.
