Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a deflection of wide angle with small air resistance by a method wherein a vane is arranged in a downstream of an outlet end of an inlet portion, an upper stream end of the vane is formed into an arced configuration, a linear portion is added to a guide wall and a downstream end of a curved portion is located at upper stream side of the downstream end of the vane. CONSTITUTION:A lower side inlet wall 2 is connected to a guide wall 4 consisting of a curved portion 5 and a straight line portion 6 through a step 3. An upper side wall 7 is formed to have a curved portion 8 directing a stream toward inside at the down stream end thereof. A vane 12 rotatable about a shaft 15 is formed into a substantially arced configuration at an upper stream end 13 thereof so as to reduce a resistance of the stream and a whole configuration of the vane is formed into a curved configuration while the upper stream end 13 thereof is arranged so as to be located at the down stream side of an outlet end 18 of an inlet portion 16. The curved portion 8 is arranged so that a tip end portion 19 thereof is located at the upper stream side of the lower stream end 14 of the vane 12. According to this constitution, a deflection of wide angle may be obtained with a small air resistance when the vane 12 is directed downwardly or upwardly.
