Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a suction mechanism from being influenced by suction pulsation by arranging a hot-wire flow meter on the upstream of a slottle room close to the room and forming the inwall of a cylindrical member in which a hot wire is supported like a orifice shape. CONSTITUTION:A air suction pipe 11 forms a circulation passage for sucked air. A slottle valve 1 to control the quantity of air to be fed to an engine is attached to the downstream of the inside of the air suction pipe 11. A hot-wire flow meter is fitted to the upperstream of the slottle room including the slottle valve 1 close to the slottle valve and connected to the inwall of the air suction pipe 11. A hot-wire pipe 8 is fitted to the center of the flow meter so as to be parallel with the circulation passage of air. A hot wire is attached to the inside of the hot-wire pipe 8 vetically to the flow direction of sucked air and the inwall is shaped like orifice. A ring venturi part 13 is attached to the inwall surface of the air suction pipe 11 at the downstream of the hot-wire pipe 8 close to the pipe 8.
