Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent clogging and damaging of filter bodies and make possible high-pressure dehydration treatment by forming filter medium films on the surfaces of the filter bodies with the filter medium supplied between the respective filter bodies and pressure-dehydrating sludge.
CONSTITUTION: Sludge F is supplied from a hopper 2 into a cylinder 1. The filter media G in a filter media tank 9 are supplied between the sludge F and a filter body 6. The filter media G are fed forward by moving a plunger 3 from a pushing position (a) to position (d), but the sludge F is not yet pressurized. The plunger 3 is retreated to the position (c) and the filter media G are injected by a pump 10 into the rear part of the sludge. The plunger 3 is advanced to allow the filter media G to stick on the filter bodies 5, 6, thereby forming filter medium films. Further the plunger 3 is advanced to compress and dehydrate the sludge. Thence, a door body 7 is lowered by a hydraulic cylinder 9 and sludge cake F' is pushed out by te plunger 3. The cake F' is lifted upward by the hydraulic cylinder 8. The cake F' is delivered out to a disintegrating machine 15 and the plunger 3 and hydraulic cylinder 8 return to the home positions.
