Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the number of piping members and of assembling processes by forming monolithically, by the method of blow forming, a tank part wherein a water supply port and a hot-water supply port are formed and a heat-collecting plate part.
CONSTITUTION: The main body 5 of a solar heater made of synthetic resin is constituted by the tank part 3 provided with water supply port 1 in the upper part thereof and the hot-water supply port 2 in the lower side part and by the heat collecting plate 4 wherein water channels 6 connected with the water supply port 1 and a tank 7 are formed in the shape of stripes. The water is supplied from the water supply port 1 to the tank 7 located at a high position and the water channels 6 located at low positions, and the water inside the water channels 6 is heated by solar heat and made to circulate spontaneously by the difference in temperature from that inside the tank 7 caused by the heating and the hot water inside the tank 7 can be taken out appropriately from the hot-water supply port 2. And, in the case when the main body 5 of the solar heater is installed outdoor, a glass plate 9 transmitting the solar heat to the heat-collecting plate part 4 is provided on a lower box 10, a facing cover 8 formed monolithically is provided removably in such a manner that it covers the glass plate and piping is made through the intermediary of a hole 11 for piping.
