Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the adhesion of soot to an economizer and the corrosion of a heat transmission tube, by arranging a combustor between a supercharger and an exhaust gas economizer thus increasing the exhaust gas temperature.
CONSTITUTION: The exhaust gas from a diesel engine 1 will drive a supercharger 2 then passes through a combustor 8 having many pilot burners 7 for combustor, thereafter the temperature is rised and exhausted through an exhaust gas economizer 3. The water in heat transmission tubes 4, 5 in the exhaust gas economizer is heated by the exhaust gas to produce the vapor which is used for power in the yard or as the heat source. In this device a combustor is arranged between the supercharger and the exhaust gas economizer, thereby the exhaust gas temperature level is increased and the energy recovery efficiency is improved while the adhesion of soot and the sulfuric corrosion under low temperature exhaust gas can be prevented.
