Abstract
PURPOSE:To correct distortion aberrations by corresponding the configuration of the optical fiber strands at the imaging end face to the distortion aberrations of an imaging lens. CONSTITUTION:If the images formed by a lens 5 on the incident end faces 2 of image fibers 1 distort to a barrel shape or bobbin winding shape as shown by squares of 11, the distortion aberrations are corrected by arranging the strands 12 of the optical fibers in such a manner that their end faces position at the points of intersection of these squares. In this case, the exit end faces of the image fibers need be arrayed at equal intervals.
