Abstract
PURPOSE:To avoid the influence owing to the thickness of the jacket part of image fibers by making superposed parts in the visual fields of the respective imaging lenses of a lens array which forms the split images of an object on the respective picture element parts of a plurality of image fibers. CONSTITUTION:The split images 5b of the object image 5a formed on an image blade 4 by the 1st imaging lens 3 are further formed by the imaging lenses 6a of a lens array on the respective picture element parts of the image fibers corresponding to these. At this time, if the visual fields of the imaging lenses 6a of the lens array are so determined as to have superposed parts 7 each other and these are reimaged reversibly on the exit side, the dark parts owing to dropout of the transmission images by the jacket parts 1b of the fibers are effectively cancelled.
