Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency of data processing, by enabling to evaluate the degree of measured error of position data automatically, through the addition of the measured error data to the position data of electromagnetic wave emitting body. CONSTITUTION:When the azimuth data is inputted from the electromagnetic wave direction finders A-C to the termnals 7-9, the crossing point calculating circuit 10 obtains the cross points (x), (y), and (z) to estimate and calculate the ranging psition 20. Further, the standard deviation data corresponding to the azimuth data is inputted to the error calculation circuit 11, which obtains the distance from the finders A-C to the ranged position 20, and the product between the distance and the standard deviation data is obtained, respectively, as to the finders A-C. Further, the average value of product obtained is calculated and it is fed to the display device 13 together with the ranging position data obtained before as estimated error.
