Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize a joint use for the aircraft controlling function and the meteorological function by adding the signal process function of the meteorological radar to the aircraft controlling radar featuring the 3-dimensional information function. CONSTITUTION:Antenna 4 with which the equivalent multiple beams are formed within the vertical plane is turned within the horizontal plane. On the other hand, meteorological signal process part 7 featuring the meteorological function is added to the aircraft controlling radar which can obtain the 3-dimensional information such as the distance information, the azimuth information and the elevation angle in formation. Part 7 comprises the averaging circuit of the receiving signal, the equi-echo wire and others, and features the function of a meteorological radar with reception of the 3-dimensional information from the aircraft controlling radar. In other words, one of the output of receiving device 5 enters aircraft controlling signal process part 6 to show the controlling function, and the other output enters part 7 to show the meteorological function respectively.
