CONSTITUTION:Water of water tanks 5-8 different in capacity is supplied to tube 1 to be tested throughout all of the range of water supply quantity detector 11 through float 10 of water level detecting tank 4 by pump 12, which is provided in communicating tube 9 independently of the capacity of tube 1 to be tested. The pressure and the temperature of this supplied water are detected by pressure and temperature detectors 19 and 20, and corrector 22 corrects the water supply quantity in accordance with the temperature, thermal expansion, compressibility, and so on the basis of the water supply quantity, the pressure, the temperature, and so on which are converted to electric signals. The part near the yield point of the water supply quantity-water pressure curve which is displayed on graph display equipment 24 through measure changer 23, important part extractor 25, magnification controller 26, and so on is expanded and displayed on expanding display equipment 27, and this, the pressure resistant strength at the point of permanent set 0.2% is determined with high precision simply and rapidly.
