PURPOSE:To exactly obtain a constant torque over a wide temperature range by providing a magnetic circuit section having a coil wherein the current of the coil is controlled in accordance with the temperature detecting signal at the vicinity of a rotating disc. CONSTITUTION:With a motor 11 rotating with a constant speed, magnetic circuit sections 15, 16 also rotate at the same speed. A magnetic flux is caused by a permanent magnet 18 so that a rotating disc 23 may cross a gap 19 and an eddy current is generated at the disc 23 by the rotation of the magnetic circuit section 15. As a result, the disc 23 receives a torque which is directly proportional to the rotary speed of a motor 11. The temperature at the vicinity of the disc 23 is detected to control the current of the coil 21 in the magnetic circuit section 16 in accordance with the deviation between a temperature detecting signal and a reference signal and variations caused by the temperatures at the generated torque is corrected. In this way, a constant torque will exactly be obtained over a wide temperature range.
