Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve and stabilize the quality of die-casted materials, by measuring the oil pressure in the shot cylinder at every casting shot and by automatically controlling the shot pressure so that it may be in the set range, by comparing the measured oil pressure and the set oil pressure.
CONSTITUTION: The shot is started at step 101, and after a period of about 2sec has passed at step 102, it is judged whether an abnormal oil pressure occurred or not at step 103, and when no abnormal oil pressure has occurred an NO signal is outputted. Then, at step 104, it is judged whether the shot speed has been read or not and at step 105 it is judged whether the plunger speed has become O or not. When the judgement at step 105 is YES, the oil pressure in the shot ring is measured at a specified point at step 107, after waiting for a specified time at step 106, and the measured pressure and the set pressure are compared at step 108 and, when the measured pressure is out of the allowable range, an NG signal is outputted to step 109. When the NG signal is continuously outputted for a specified times, the measured pressures are averaged at step 110 and the averaged value is compared with the set value, and opening and closing of the set valve for increasing pressure is adjusted at step 112.
