Lenses L'' have the small F number longitudinally, but have the large F number laterally because both their ends are cut, so setting angle (theta) great results in that light beams l1 incident to the edge parts of lenses L'' are ones emitted from the projected pupil of photographing objective lens L, so that the precision of the detection of focusing and defocusing is improved.
