Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable simply to take out the same DC voltage from single phase 100V, 200V by a method wherein two smoothing capacitors are connected in series between the output terminals of a single bridg rectifying circuit, and an AC input terminal is also provided at the middle. CONSTITUTION:The capacitors C1, C2 having the same capacity are connected in series between the output terminals 2, 2' of the single phase bridge rectifying circuit making the connecting point to be the AC input terminal 3. Accordingly when an AC voltage e volt is applied between a terminal 1 and the terminal 3 (or a terminal 1' and the terminal 3), a current flows as terminal 1 D1 C1 terminal 3 during the period when the terminal 1 is positive to charge the capacitor C1 to 2<1/2> e volt. Samely the capacitor C2 is charged to 2<1/2> e volt during the period when the terminal 3 is positive, and the DC voltage of 2X2<1/2> e volt generated between the output terminals 2, 2'. Even when AC 2e volt is applied between the terminal 1 and the terminal 1', a DC voltage of 2X2<1/2> e volt is generated between the output terminals 2, 2'. Accordingly the same DC voltage can be taken out from single phase 100V, 200V without using a transformer, etc.
