Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain stabilized fluid conditions and to prevent accumulation layers from being formed by a method wherein a wind box is divided into a plurality of partition chambers in a width direction of a storing tank and the side end parts of the bottom wall of the fluid bed are constituted by inclined dispersion plates.
CONSTITUTION: A wind box is provided at the neighborhood of the bottom wall 12 of a tank 10 storing the fluid bed 11 consisting of fluid medium in a particle form. In the storing tank 10 are provided an evaporation pipe 14 and a fuel supply pipe 15 which are buried in the fluid bed 11. The bottom plate 12 is composed of an inclined dispersion plates 12a located at both its ends and horizontal dispersion plates 12b, through each of which a plurality of nozzles are prepared in order to pass the fluidized air. Further, the wind box 13 is divided into a plurality of partition chambers 13aW13e by partition walls 16 in the direction of the width of the bottom wall 12 and a fluidized air supplying pipe 17 is provided in each of the partition chambers. Therefore, the amount of air supply can be adjusted in each partition room 13aW13e, the fluidizing condition can be stabilized and accumulation layers are prevented from being formed.
