Abstract
PURPOSE:To control the temperature rise of a stabilizer, by using thermistor of positive characteristic as the stabilizer and placing the thermistor of positive characteristic and a temperature adjusting member in good contact. CONSTITUTION:In a light-permeable or semipermeable envelope tube 1 a linear tube fluorescent lamp 20 is inserted, and to one end of the envelope tube 1 a screw- in type base 3 is connected while to the other end a cap 15 is connected. In the cap 15 a starter lamp 31 is housed, while in the base 3 a stabilizer 35, consisting of nonlinear positive characteristic thermistor, is contained. Said stabilizer 35 is held by a spring supporting seat 36 and terminal plate 37 respective consisting of conductive plate, then a mounting hook formed in the spring supporting seat 36 inhibits a movement of the stabilizer. The spring supporting seat 36 is always pressed by a coil spring 39 housed in a conduction hole 9. The terminal plate 37 is engaged and contacted to a temperature adjusting member 43, thus a heat radiating action of the stabilizer 35 can be performed by the temperature adjusting member 43.
