Abstract
PURPOSE:To compare the level between two impedances, by charging a capacitor through each impedance and examines the polarity of the charged electric charge during the AC positive and negative polarity voltage. CONSTITUTION:The circuit 13a to which the diode 11a and impedance element 12a are connected is connected in parallel to the circuit 12b having the same structure as the circuit 13a. In this case, however, the diodes 11a and 11b have the opposite polarity to each other. An AC power source 15 is connected to the circuit via a capacitor 14. Then a voltmeter 17 is connected via a low pass filter 16 to detect the DC voltage of the capacitor 14. The filter 16 prevents a supply of the current of the source 15 to the voltmeter, and the impedance of the capacitor 19 is selected at a level small enough in terms of the frequency of the source 15. In such constitution, the voltage proportional to the level of the impedances of the impedance elements 12a and 12b is charged for the mean voltage across the capacitor 14. Thus the level of impedances is compared by the level of the voltage.
