Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a multioutput switching regulator SR having a high efficiency and high stability of each output with a compact and light-weight structure, by winding the choke coil of each rectifying circuit of the SR round a common iron core. CONSTITUTION:The AC voltage generated at the switching elements 2 and 2' is supplied to the primary winding of a transformer 3; and the output voltage of the secondary windings 14A-14C of the transformer is rectified by a rectifying circuit and then supplied to the loads 9A and 9C after a smoothing. In this case, the smoothing choke coil 11 is wound around a common iron core, and the output voltage EA and EB are connected magnetically to a circuit having the output voltage EC within the coil 11. Thus the voltage Ea and Eb become constant regardless of a continuous or discontinuous state of the choke current as long as the voltage EC is constant. Accordingly a connection of a dummy load is not required, and thus a compact and light-weight choke coil can be obtained efficiently owing to a winding around a common iron core.
