Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform large energy-saving in a defumidification type cooler of batch system utilizing moisture absorber by humidifying and cooling the air of one passage with moisture removed from high moisture air via a moisture exchanging moisture absorber in the other conditioned air passage.
CONSTITUTION: This cooler has conditioned air passages 1, 1' provided alternately switchably operably between two systems and regenerative passages 2, 2' provided alternately switchably operably between the two systems corresponding to the passages 1, 1'. The one passage is connected sequentially from the outlet side of an indoor air intake blower 3 through a moisture exchanging absorber 5, a moisture removing moisture absorber 7, a sensible heat exchanger 9, a moisture exchanging moisture absorber 11 and a humidifier 13 to an indoor air feed port 14, and the other passage 1' is connected sequentially from the outlet side of the blower 3 through moisture absorbers 11, 15, the exchanger 9, the absorber 5, and the humidifier 13 to the outlet 14. The passages 2, 2' are connected to the outlet side of an atmospheric air intake blower 17 as designated by broken lines.
