Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the effect of cooling a fluid medium and effectively recover waste heat by a method wherein the air in an air heater is heated by the potential heat of the fluid medium extracted from a fluidized furnace into a fluidized bed cooler, through a heat pipe, and said air is led into said fluidized furnace.
CONSTITUTION: The fluid medium 2a extracted from a fluidized bed 2 in a fluidized furnace 1 through an overflow pipe 3 is accepted and accumulated in a cooler 5, into which a cooling air A2 is let to perform heat exchange to cool the fluid medium 2a and recovered into the fluidized furnace 1. At the same time, by a heat pipe 15, the heat in the fluid medium 2a is transmitted to an air heater 7 to heat air A3, which is led into the fluidized reactor 1. By said constitution, the fluid medium extracted from the fluidized furnace 1 is sufficiently cooled by ventilation and the heat pipe as well as the waste heat can be recovered to use for the combustion air.
