Abstract

PURPOSE: To cool product water without using a freezing apparatus by evaporating a portion of a high temp. condensed water obtained by a conventional water making apparatus using an adsorbing agent.
CONSTITUTION: An adsorbing process is carried out mutually by using two enclosure parts 1, 2 and the adsorbed water is desorbed from an adsorbing agent 1a or 2a resulting from the adsorbing process by a high temp. gas recirculated through an air sending apparatus 10 and a heater 12. In a short time, only steam is filled in a recirculation system and the desorbed moisture is sent to a condenser 18 through a discharge passage 17 to be condensed therein. Because a temp. of the water 20 stored in a water storage is high, said water is sent into a hermetically sealed container 22 and, in a condition closing a valve 22, an exhaust apparatus such as a vacuum pump is operated to reduce the pressure in the container 21 to boil and evaporate water 20a. Then, evaporated steam is returned to the discharge passage 17 from an air passage 24 and, on the other hand, a temp. of said water 20a is lowered by evaporation the latent heat.
