Abstract
PURPOSE:To arrange so that the equal adjustment at a zero point of two frequencies to be detected by a pair of detector may be made with an ultrasonic propagation direction fixed at time of zero-point adjustment and subsequently the zero-point may be easily adjusted without stopping the flow of a fluid, by providing an auxiliary control circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a zero-point adjustment is carried out, first a change-over switch 21A is changed over to the TEST side, thus connecting a control circuit 10 with an auxiliary control circuit 20. As a result, the change-over switches 11A and 11B are synchronized with each other, being changed over to the (a) side. At the same time, an ultrasonic vibrator 1 is always at the transmission side. Then it is changed over to the (b) side and this time, an ultrasonic vibrator 1' is at the transmission side. Simultaneously the oscillation frequencies of voltage control oscillators 14 and 14 are connected to be equalized, thus making available a state where the fluid is stationary at an equivalent rate. Under this status, for instance, an output signal from a frequency-voltage conversion circuit 19 has only to be adjusted so that said signal may be equivalent to zero or a specified value.
