Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain dark and uniform coloration image by designating the smoothnesses of each layer of the multiple coloring heat-sensitive recording paper as the specified value, where the coloration layers are superimposed on the supporter which show different color tones at different heating temperatures. CONSTITUTION:On the supporter 1, coloration layer sensitive to high temperature 2, vanishing layer 3 and coloration layer sensitive to low temperature 4 are arranged. By applying such surface treatment as calender-brushing in order to make the surface smoothness of the layers above 500sec in terms of Beck's smoothness, there will be no difference in coloration or vanishing action irrelevant to the part of the recording paper as the heat transfer to each layer becomes uniform owing to the fact that not only the upper coloration layer sensitive to low temperature 4 but also the coloration layer sensitive to high temperature 2, vanishing layer 3 are become smooth, when adding the heat energy to the low temperature heating part A and high temperature heating part B. By this reason, the distinct coloration images both at high temperature and at low temperature are obtained which are free from irregularity of darkness and color tone.
