Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a cylindrical permanent manget having radial anisotropy by mounting electromagnetic coils at positions surrounding the outer periphery of a mold for an outer wall and in the vicinity of the upper surface of the mold in a radial direction and providing the line of magnetic force reversed each other at the coils thus mounted. CONSTITUTION:A die 1 and a core 2 are moved upwardly via a lower frame 8 by a lower cylinder 9, and magnetic powder is filled up to the upper surface of the die 1 in a vacity 3. Then, an upper frame is moved downwardly by an upper cylinder 6 to seal the lower end face of an upper punch 4, the electromagnetic coils 10a, 10b are simultaneously energized, the upper punch 4 is subsequently moved downwardly to compress the magnetic powder. After a predetermined compression is completed, the energization of the coils is stopped. Further, an electric current is flowed in the reverse direction of the coils so as to demagnetize the die 1 and the core 2 of the magnetic mold as well as the molded product. Thereafter, the die 1 and the core 2 are slidably moved downwardly up to the upper surface of the lower punch 7 to dispose the molded product up to the upper end face of the die 1, and the molded product is removed.
