Abstract
PURPOSE:To realize full color copying having high efficiency by a simple constitution without color separation and color matching, by forming latent images, which correspond to blue, red and green colors having prescribed polarities and potentials, on a photoreceptor having a prescribed photoconductive layer. CONSTITUTION:Photoreceptor 15 is formed by laminating the 1st photoconductive layer 36 and the 2nd photoelectric layer 37 of crystal of an organic material on photoconductive substrate 35 by selenium vapor deposition or the like. The surface potential of photoreceptor 15 is held at a positive potential by primary charging and also held zero in the dark by secondary charging. Picture exposure device 10 projects an orginal light image on it. The photoreceptor potential at a part exposed in blue color becomes negative, a part of red light becomes a positive potential, and a part of green light becomes a positive potential lower than that of the red light part. Electrostatic latent images that correspond to those colors are developed through developing devices 20, 21 and 22 by using blue, red and green toners charged at counter polarities to form a picture sticking three color toners, so that color copying can be done with high efficiency.
