CONSTITUTION:Toner spherical particles are obtd. by subjecting toner starting materials to suspension polymn. in the presence of a high-molecular compound as an emulsion stabilizer having structural units represented by formula I or their salt in the structure. In the formula I, each of R1 and R2 is H, 1-20C alkyl or COOH, R3 is 1-4C alkyl, Cl or CN, X is CO, COO(CH2)n (n is 1-5), OCH2, OCH2CH2 or the group of formula II or III, each of R4 and R5 is H, 1-20C alkyl, benzyl, (substituted) phenyl or (substituted) naphthyl, and the substituent is OH, alkyl or the like. Pulverized toner may be sphered by heating in an aqueous soln. of the stabilizer.
