Abstract
PURPOSE:To keep a plane plate constantly in a horizontal state and thereby detect the direction of advance accurately by a constitution wherein one rotation detector is set vertically to the plane plate to be used for detection of rotation, while the other is set in parallel to the plane plate to be used for detection of inclination. CONSTITUTION:At least two detectors which detect the rotational angle or rotational speed around the rotary shaft of a supporting body having a flywheel rotating around a fixed axis based on an angle of slide or a speed of the angle of slide at the bearing part of the rotation of the flywheel are provided, and one rotation detector 14 is provided so that the rotary shaft of the flywheel is situated vertical to the plane plate 11 supported rotatably by arms 12 and 13 and drives a meter 15, while the other rotation detector 16 is provided so that the rotary shaft of the flywheel is situated parallel to the plane plate 11 and, when the plane plate 11 is inclined, detects the inclination through the intermediary of gears 18 and 19, thereby making the flywheel perform compensational rotation so as for the plane plate 11 to be horizontal.
