Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit costitution and reduce power consumption, by outputting positive and negative discrimination signals at the rise of the detection signal as positive and negative reproducing signals, in the discriminating and reproducing circuit of the input signal used in the PCM repeater and so on. CONSTITUTION:Discriminating circuit 5 compares positive-phase and antiphase data with threshold VR in response to the positive-phase timing signal; and when positive-phase or antiphase data is larger than threshold VR, a positive or negative discrimination signal is output. When positive-phase and antiphase data are smaller than threshold VR, circuit 5 outputs the zero discrimination signal. FF8 outputs ''1'' as the detection signal during the period of antiphase timing ''1'' if the zero sicrimination signal is ''0'' at the rise of the antiphase timing signal. Meanwhile, FF7 outputs positive and negative discrimination signals at the rise of the detection signal as positive and negative reproducing signals to terminals 18 and 19 while the detection signal is ''1''. Thus, the circuit constitution is simplified to reduce power consumption.
