Abstract
PURPOSE:To readily and accurately inspect the different portions between a film negative and its reinverted nagative by a method wherein the film negative and the reinverted negative are irradiated by light sources of colors which are complementary to each other, and the pictures of both the negatives are superposed one upon another. CONSTITUTION:Negative fitting portions 5a are provided on two side surfaces of a frame 3 respectively and fitted with filters 2 and 2' of colors comlementary to each other over a film negative 5 and the negative 5' for reprint respectively. The light form a diffused light source 1 is passed through the negative 5 and a half permeable mirror 4 and made incident on a visual point 6. On the other hand, the light from a diffused light source 1 permeates through the negative 5' for reprint, is reflected by the half permeable mirror 4 and made incident on the visula point 6. Accordingly, the optical imags of the negative 5 and the negative 5' for reprint are superposed one upon another, and it is possible to adjust the image so that the portions agreeing with each other are white while the portions not agreeing with each other are colored. Therefore, the negative 5 and the negative 5' for reprint can be readily and accurately inspected.
