PURPOSE:To automate the balance adjustment of a rotary machine by entering the output from an unbalance quantity measuring device into a controlling device fitted with a microcomputer and cutting an object to be measured, which is positioned on an X and Y table, by means of an end mill. CONSTITUTION:In addition to the input of unbalance angle 18 and unbalance quantity 20 outputted from unbalance measuring device 12, signals of limit switches 22 and digital switches 24 on X and Y table fitted to an end mill are entered into digital input part 16 of controlling device 14. The output from input part 16 is entered into microcomputer 30, which processes various input data according to the program which has been previously prepared to drive pulse motors 40 of X, Y and Z shafts. After deciding the position to be removed from the object, only the excess equivalent to unbalance quantity is cut by means of an end mill, making it possible to automate the balance adjustment of the rotary machine without skill fullness.
