Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare the titled agent remarkably effective even to white straining of pigling, by using as an effective component, a transfer-factor separated from the leucocyte of mature pigs.
CONSTITUTION: Transfer-factor separated from the leucocyte in the blood of mature pigs is used as an effective component of the titled agent. Preferably, the leucocyte is a mixture of leucocytes derived from the blood of a number of pigs. The transfer- factor can be separated from the leucocyte by freezing and melting process, or the combination of freezing and melting process and the DN-Ace treatment. The transfer-factor is dissolved in physiological saline water to obtain the objective preparation. The immunity of piglings esp. the immunity to the prevailing white straining can be promoted by this agent. It is effective for the prevention of infectious diseases such as those caused by colon bacilli, Japanese encephalitis, hog cholera, etc. The agent is pref. combined with a γ-globulin preparation.
