Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain the FRP tube having few air bubbles and high-performance in good productivity and workability by a method wherein glass fibers bonded with a hardening accelerator beforehand is wound and a hardening resin composite is bonded to and impregnated into the glass fibers on a core.
CONSTITUTION: The hardening accelerator is bonded to the glass fibers and the hardening resin composite is bonded to and impregnated into them to harden them on the core, thereby reduing the mixing of air into the FRP layer. When the hardening resin composite is bonded to and impregnated into the wound glass fibers, excess resin will not be produced if the supplying amount thereof is regulated properly. A resin having a short pot life may be utilized as the last blended material without troubles, the hardening time therefor is reduced remarkably and the productibity may be improved.
