Abstract
PURPOSE:To measure the amount of mixture of air and fuel by arranging hot-wire flowmeters in the upper and lower pipe lines of a mixing apparatus and thereby finding a difference in mass flow rate. CONSTITUTION:The hot-wire flowmeter 1a measuring the passing amount of air is provided in the upstream-side pipe line 3 of the mixing apparatus 2, while the hot- wire flowmeter 1b measuring the sum of atomized gasoline supplied from a gasoline supplying pipe 13 and of the amount of air is provided in the downstream-side pipe line 3. The hot-wire flowmeters 1a and 1b include two main hot wires 6 and two hot wires 8 for compensation, both of which are provided on a ring-shaped supporting frame. By these hot wires 6 and 8 a constant temperature bridge circuit Q is constituted together with a feedback circuit 12. The output of the bridge circuit Q is inputted in a substraction circuit 17 through the intermediary of addition circuits 13 and 14 and straightening circuits 15 and 16 and thereby the amount of supply of mixed gasoline is found. Moreover, when the ratio to the amount of air found from the hot-wire flowmeter 1a is found in a division circuit 18, the mixture ratio of air to gasoline can be found.
