Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable feedback linearization even if a characteristic function is not ideal one, by attaining the linearization by controlling the gain of a feedback circuit corresponding to the range where the magnitude of an output belongs. CONSTITUTION:The output of buffer circuit 24 to which an input signal is applied is applied to operational amplifier 32 provided with feedback resistance 33 via variable resistance 31 grounded via variable resistance 25, etc., to obtain a linearized output signal. When the output of this circuit 24 increases beyond prescribed linear region limit xm, idealising-rectifying circuit 35 connected to bias circuit 36 generates an output, and through the feedback to variable resistance 38 via inverting amplifier 37, the feedback gain is added to the feedback gain depending upon resistance 25 to determine the amount of feedback. Then, the gain of amplifier 32 is controlled to make corrections so that the output of amplifier 32 will successively be linear. Thus, even if the characteristic function is not ideal one, the output is fed back and linearized.
