Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep the output pulse area constant, by detecting the average voltage of output pulse train and controlling the pulse width or pulse amplitude in response to the variation of the detected voltage. CONSTITUTION:The pulse train input to the terminal 11 is input to the pulse width control circuit 16, the output is input to the pulse transmission circuit 15 and wave- shaped at the pulse shape circuit 12 and amplified at the pulse amplifier circuit 15, and output from the terminal 14. The output pulse train is fed to the average value detection circuit 17 and the average voltage is detected. The average voltage detected at the circuit 17 is compared with the reference value at the variation detecting circuit 18 and the variation of the average voltage is detected. The circuit 16 is controlled with the amount of variation detected and the pulse width is changed so that the amount of variation can be reduced. Accordingly, the pulse area (widthXamplitude) of the output pulse train is kept constant and highly accurate transmission system can be constituted.
