Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce harmful components and fuel cost by a method wherein when an engine is warmed up and the warmed-up temperature is within an intended rang, air-fuel ratio control is performed on the basis of various sigals of the engine.
CONSTITUTION: The engine 1 has an air-fuel ratio control system composed of a solenoid 3, a main solenoid 4 and a fuel solenoid 5 and is driven by a control unit 12. Various signals sent from a throttle switch 6, a suction negative pressure sensor 8, a cooling water temperature sensor 9, a rotation speed sensor 10 and a suction air temperature sensor 11 are inputted to a unit 12. Map data used as the standard value are stored and comparison calculation with actual measurements is made by the various signals. Various kinds of drive systems are controlled by the unit 12 when temperature comes within an intended range even in warming up the engine.
