Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the reliability for a switch of the fixed gain, by switching the pilot signal contained in the transmission signal before it is converted into a DC. CONSTITUTION:Only the pilot signal is extracted out of the transmission signal applied to the terminal 1 through the BPF3, and the pilot signal is detected through the level detection circuit 8 via the amplifying circuit 4 and the rectifying circuit 5. When the circuit 8 detects the pilot signal lower than the reference level, the switch 10 is switched to the oscillator 11 in the own station. Then the pilot signal of the reference level of the oscillator 11 is applied to an automatic gain control circuit via the expanding circuit 7 to fix the output level. Thus the switching is facilitated with a reduced quantity of power consumption since the pilot signal is switched before it is converted into a DC.
