Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable measurement of a load even in a narrow space of installation by receiving the load of an object of measurement with a load-receiving seat and by detecting the lateral strain of the main body caused thereby by means of a strain gauge. CONSTITUTION:The main body 18 of the load-detecting device is formed into a staged board, and on the upper surface thereof is the tetragonal load-receiving seat 19 receiving the load of the object of measurement. The load of the object of measurement is received by the load-receiving seat 19 and the lateral strain of the main body 18 caused thereby is detected by strain gauges 22 and 23 and outputted as an electric signal through the intermediary of a bridge circuit 25 and an output terminal 27. Based on the calibrated value of the load and strain, the load of the object of measurement is detected.
