Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent clogging through the effective transfer of vibration and to jet ink at a constant speed, by a method wherein vibration of a vibrating plate is amplified by a horn, and is transferred to a center of a round current of ink flowing round in an ink chamber to discharge inkdrops together with an air current. CONSTITUTION:A vibrator 2 is mounted at an end surface 4 of a horn 7, and an end surface 7 of a head 5 of the horn 7 and the surface 4 are positioned parallel to each other. Vibration of amplitude, which is amplified to the end surface 6 with a boundary 8 between the head part 5 of the horn 7 and a bottom part 3 acting as a vibration joint, is obtained. Ink flows through an ink inlet port 12 into an ink chamber 11 consisting of a circumference wall 13 and an ink outlet port 12, and flows round along an inner circumference surface 18, whereby a part around the center is cleared of solid matters to prevent clogging of the outelt port 12. Furthermore, air is always blown at a constant speed to an air chamber 21 froma blowing source 25, and thereby minute inkdrops flown from the outlet port 12 can be discharged at a constant speed from a discharge port 23 together with an air current irrespective of sizes of the minute inkdrops.
