Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the workability by welding a side lead having a thined securing section with lower end seal to the lower end seal thereby eliminating the removal of the fused portin of the side lead. CONSTITUTION:A small diameter section 5b is formed at the tip of a side lead 5 to be welded with a lower end seal 3. When welding said section 5b to the lower end seal 3, the jule heat is concentrated to said section 5b during the electric resistance welding thereby the fusing out of the welded section 5a is reduced. Since the welding section is made of small diameter section 5b, the welding section 5a can be limited not to fuse out of the inner diameter or the outer diameter of the shield 3 thereby the removing work of the fused out portion is eliminated resulting in the improvement of the workability.
