Abstract
PURPOSE: To maintain a desulfurization ratio at high level by preparing the pH of the solution to absorb sulfur oxide and maintaining the ratio of the quantity of absorbing solution to that of sulfur oxide of exhaust gas in a fixed range in a wet type desulfurization procedure.
CONSTITUTION: Exhuast gas 21 is introduced in SOx absorbing tank 6 and absorbing is sprayed from slurry spray nozzle 24 to desulfurize the exhaust gas. The quantity and concentration of exhaust gas 21 introduced in absorbing tank 6 are measured with airflow meter 29 and SOx concentration meter 30 and the quantity of SOx is calculated by arithmetic control device 35. Arithmetic device 36 calculates the ratio of the quantity of slurry to that of SOx so as to be adjusted to ≥45 and controls the quantity of slurry through control value 32. pH Control device 38 of absorbing tank gives a command by the detected value of pH meter 31 and makes discharging slurry control valve 33 and supply slurry control valve 34 operate to exchange the old slurry with a new one and control pH between 5W7. Thus, the quantity of plaster is stably increased and the desulfurization ratio is also maintained at high level.
