Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the number of switches, by forming the delay means into some blocks.
CONSTITUTION: The shift register 11 functioning as a delay means in a transversal filter consists of e.g. 6 delay means R1∼R6 and then divided into three delay blocks B1∼B3 consisting of the two consecutive delay means R1 and R2, R3 and R4 plus R5 and R6, respectively. The input tap of the first delay block B1 of the register 11 plus the output taps of the blocks B1∼B3 are connected to 4 row lines. The two column lines cross these row lines, and the switches 121a1∼121d2 are connected to these cross points. Then the 1st latches 122a and 122c are connected to the column lines along with the 2nd latches 122b and 122d connected via the delay devices 123a and 123b serving as the auxiliary delay means. The both devices 123a and 123b have the same delay time as one means of the register 11.
