Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the reception output, by providing another turning coil adjacently to the turning coil provided to a bar antenna. CONSTITUTION:The turning coils 1 and 2 connected with the tuning capacitors 3 and 4 having the same value with the same number of windings, the same diameter and the same winding direction are provided across the ferrite bar 9. The distances from the end parts of the bar 9 to the end parts of the coils 1 and 2 are adjusted to A and B to obtain a relation of A<B. Thus the inductance of the coil 2 is larger than that of the coil 1, and as a result the coil 2 has rather a lower tuning frequency than the coil 1. The secondary coil 5 is wound close to the coil 1, and thus the voltage induced to the coil 5 is increased by about 6dB compared with the case having no coil 2.
