Abstract

PURPOSE: To remove the deviation between a present flow rate and a target flow rate from flow rate operation means and obtain the same control capacity constantly by providing a means to control the angle of inlet guide vanes with PID control (proportion, integrate and differential) as well as a means to change control constant.
CONSTITUTION: A flow rate operation means 22 computes a present suction flow rate from the values detected by detectors 17W19 to monitor the conditions of a compressor. A PID control operation means 23 computes the deviation between the flow rate obtained by the flow rate operation means 22 and the target flow rate set in a target flow rate set unit 21. The PID control operation means 23 computes PID control which obtains the angle of inlet guide vanes 11W14 to remove the deviation descirbed above. The cotrol constant of the PID control can be changed by a change means to match the properties of a compressor.
