Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease the number of external terminals, by supplying the analog and digital control input signals through a common input terminal for a monolithic semiconductor IC containing both control input signals. CONSTITUTION:The reproduced signal is supplied to the amplifying circuit 1, and this output is supplied to the variable low-pass filter 2. The output of the filter 2 is applied to a muting circuit consisting of the resistance R1 and transistor Q. The control signal of the muting circuit is produced at the voltage detecting circuit 3. In addition, the output of the circuit 1 is supplied to the high-pass filter 4 to erase the high-range noise such as the hiss noise or the like. Thus the high-range component is extracted and then converted into an analog voltage signal by the wave detecting circuit 5 to vary high-range cut-off frequency of a variable low-pass filter.
