Abstract
The delay circuit, having a very short recovery time is for use in general electronics and telecommunications particularly where a control signal of a given duration requires transmission with adequate rejection of fast parasitic signals. The technique aims to provide a shorter recovery time than that required for circuit operation to avoid such operation by closely grouped noise signals. The basic component is an integrated circuit operational amplifier providing a very high input impedance and allowing a capacity between the input and frequency compensation connections to be magnified and provide the delay required, the amplifier also being used as a switching element for the transmitted control signal.
