Abstract
PURPOSE: To thermally and compressively coat a single surface of a sheet with a hot melt coating and to facilitate an assured adhesion of the coating layer onto the surface with ease, by carrying a sheet through a preheating device to a coating deice, roll-coating the sheet with a hot melt coating, cooling the coated sheet, and carrying the sheet to a loading device.
CONSTITUTION: A piled sketch board (a) severed to a desired dimension is mounted on a pallet 13 and carried by a truck 14. An attracting device 6 attracts and lifts one by one of the piled sketch boards (a). The sketch board is magnetically adhered to a magnet roller 2 attached to a frame 1, and carried to a preheating device C. In the device C, the carried sketch board is advanced on plural carrier rolls 24 and preheated. The preheated sketch board is received by an upper roll 35 of a coating device D, and coated with a precontrolled amount of a coating agent. The sketch board (a) is then coated with an appropriate thickness of the hot melt coating by a main roll. The hot melt coated sketch board is cooled by a cooling device E, and carried to a loading device F. In the loading device F, the sketch board (a) is supported with a permanent magnet rail 44 inside a belt conveyer 43 and an electromagnetic rail 45 communicated thereto. The sketch board (a) is carried by these trails, and falls onto a loading conveyer 47 after the electromagnetism is released by the operation of a limit switch 46.
