Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable replacing of a plate film with another plate film being different in length, by a method wherein endless rotary belts with a plate film are rolled around plural number of plate rollers, and at least one of the rollers is positioned so that it can be regulated by moving forward and backward. CONSTITUTION:A printer is constituted such that a printing paper 2 is fed out of a paper feeder 1 along a conveying path 4, it is printed in the course of the conveyance by a printer M, it is dried by a drier 6, and it is unloaded by a printing paper unloading part 7. The printer M is constituted such that ink in an ink pot 11 is coated on a plate surface of a plate film 13 to transfer it to the surface of the printing paper 2, the plate film 13 is secured to the surface of endless rotary belts 12, and with this the endless rotary belts 12 with the plate film 13 are rolled around a plural number of plate rollers 8a and 8b. At least one plate roller 8b of the plate rollers 8a and 8b is positioned so that it can be regulated by moving forward and backward in a direction in which the endless rotary belts 12 are stretched.
