Abstract

PURPOSE: Two or more kinds of food materials containing photosynthetic chlorella is extracted with hot water to produce a health food product containing biologically active substances from the photosynthetic chlorella as bases.
CONSTITUTION: At least one of food mateials selected from photosynthetic chlorella as the essential component, "shiitake" mushroom, ginseng, sea weeds, beer yeast and so on are, preferably dried, mixed and water is added to the mixture by an amount of 5W10 times the weight of the mixture. Then, mild heat treatment is conducted at a temperature lower than 100°C, preferably 45W100°C for hours, preferably 5W7hrs. After filtration, the filtrate is concentrated and dried or dried without concentration to form a powder.
